The Sketchbook Project

I found this project on another blog and checked it out.  You can go to the link here and see for yourself what it is all about.
I had to have my sketchbook completed and mailed out by Jan. 31, 2012, to the Brooklyn Art Library, where people can come in and check it out.  They can also see it online, as well as everyone else's, who submitted one.
The theme I chose (they give you a list of choices) was "In Ten Minutes".  I'd had many ideas for it, but when I received the book, I didn't get to it right away and then had to fill it out, sort of last minute.  So, the pictures are all very random and had more to do with what I was thinking about at the moment.
Here is my sketchbook.  I would encourage you to check out the link and peruse the many, many amazing artists out there.
Thanks for popping by, hope your day is simply grand!!

  2. Love it! I know an artist who creates her own journals/sketch books through some Japanese binding method. Visual artists amaze me.

  3. Heather, your project is amazing! What lot of unike work,I really like each of them for having their own unike expression.
We experience our lifes and, after some time simmering inside us,what pops to the surface is our personal twist of understanding it all.
You did a fantastic job here!!
