Possibiliteas

The quality or state of being possible; the power of happening, being, or existing.

I love the idea of all things possible.  It is a new day in a new week and I am looking forward to the new possibilities that are ahead. They are endless!

"Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things."
~Chaim Poto

I love teapots, tea, quiet moments, listening to the birds and during this time I consider
the possibilities.  Every day is a new day, with new possibilities waiting for us to discover and grab hold of, experience, enjoy.  I hope your day, your week, your life will be filled with
new and exciting possibilities.

Dogwood

I love the name Dogwood.  I guess because dog and wood are both related to bark.  Strange.
I'm adding a photo from my nature journal.  2008.  Yep, it's a few years old.
As I made my way into town and through town, I noticed that all of the Dogwood trees are blooming. They are fabulous, like cotton filled trees, puffy, white, beautiful.  In some areas there is a contrast of redbuds and magnolias.  It's pretty fantastic.  It reminded me that I'd written about them in my nature journal awhile back.  So, I thought I'd share it with you.  Enjoy!
Hope you're having a very lovely and smile filled weekend.

Decorated Kitty

I realized I hadn't posted any of my art this week.  I had intended to, but somehow managed to delete the folder I had with all my scanned artwork in it.  Sometimes, I am brilliant like that.
I improvised and took a picture of a drawing I did awhile back on black paper.  I like the way these pencils show up on the black background.  My apologies for the poor quality of the picture though. I will work out my technical difficulties and hopefully be ready before the A-Z Challenge begins.  :)
Enjoy the weekend and wish me luck on my technological challenges.  :)
P.S.  When was the last time you drew a cat?

Thank You!!

I want to send out a thank you to all of you who have visited my new blog and also to those who have taken a moment to comment on it.  I really appreciate it!  Starting an art blog was a big step for me.

I'd also really like to thank Lisa, who has posted a couple of my pictures on her blog and brought a bit of recognition to my blog.  I would like to do the same for her.  She has a way of painting pictures with her words. I love how honest and sincere her writing is.  It's like beautiful poetry that touches the soul.
Thank you Lisa for sharing so much.  I am also going to add a beautiful picture that she is in the process of creating.  She is discovering the artist within, as well!
Lisa's blog is: Woman Wielding Words

A to Z Blogging Challenge!!

I found this blogging challenge on another blogger's site.   I am so excited to give this a whirl.
This is how it will work.  In April, I will blog everyday but Sunday.  That will be 26 days, which of course is the same number as the letters in the alphabet.  Each day will be represented by the letter for that day.  How fun is that??  It's like Sesame Street for adults!  I'm really looking forward to this challenge.  It will motivate and inspire me to draw, paint and create more.  I hope you will check out my daily blogs and help me to stay motivated.  What a fun idea!  I love the blogging world.  :)
Have a tremendously splendid week!  Happy Spring!!

The Long Walk Home

Not really sure where the idea for this picture came. It was one that seemed to come together while I was drawing. The ghostly people just seemed to fit. It does make me curious though!

Hope you have a lovely and peace filled day!
