I made an Etsy

I finally did it, I opened up an Etsy Shop.  I have been wanting to for quite some time, but never seemed to get around to it.  Whew, there is a bit more involved in it than I would've thought.  But I did it and I am excited to share it.
This is why I haven't posted as many art posts lately, I've been busy trying to get this up and running.  I only have a few items on there, so far.  Please feel free to take a look.

Thank you friends.  Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

I also wanted to let you know, starting next Monday in lieu of Fall, I am going to do a series of posts called Falling In Love With Art.  In this, I plan to highlight my favorite artist and works of art, past and present.  Including many of my very talented blog friends.  Happy Fall!

  1. Congrats on your Etsy shop, I know you will do well. What a nice idea to put artist and their works of love on your blog. Very sweet. Happy fall!

  2. That is fantastic! I already have you on my circle.
It was about time that we all had a chance to get some of your amazing drawings.

  3. Love this piece. And I am off to check out your site!!! Yay for you!!!

  4. AHHHH! You are incredible! INCREDIBLE! It says you're carrotpoop! hehe. I am in love with the boxy owls. I am getting one...really soon!!!

  5. Okay--loving the tree woman above. Any chance of it getting a place on your etsy? She's beautiful.

  6. yeah for you! love the sexy autumn tree!

  7. Thank you Jean. I hope it will be a good experience. Always a little frightening to put yourself out there. But I'm just going to go for it. I am excited to highlight other artists, I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but with moving, didn't want to slack off with it. I feel more organized now.

Noemi, thank you so much. You are a spark of inspiration. I love looking at your gorgeous jewelry, it is a work of art.

Daniele, you are so funny. Yep, carrotpoop is my gmail and I didn't realize when I signed up to Etsy, that would be who I'd be known as and you can't go back and change it. So carrotpoop it is. Thanks, the boxy owls are fun. They look super cute framed.

Julie, I will consider that. It is fairly good sized, so I need to find a place to have a good print made of it. She is one of my favorites, as well. Thank you.

Tara, thank you. I have her hanging in my front room. Kind of fun, it's always autumn with her around. :)

  8. YEAH!!! How AWEsome! I am so happy for you - and really love what you have in your shop - I love the owl on a swing and your blue bird is gorgeous. I wish you so much luck and fun in your new Etsy adventure ;) AND love your Fall idea - I look forward to it, xoxo
