Silent Sundays!

My son hooking up the XBox, it looked like he was hiding, I couldn't resist.
I've decided that on Sundays I will just post photos.  No long wordyness.  Possibly just a caption under the photo itself.  Most of the pictures I take are from my walks.
Last night's sunset

Standing in a cornfield

I always love the way the sun looks coming through the trees
I am just using my phone camera, so I apologize for the lack of awesome quality.  I hope you're having a lovely weekend.   Enjoy!

  1. The top sunset reminds me of a recent sunset I saw out in the desert...I didn't take a photo, curses...

  2. Pretty good photos, considering! Great minds think alike - I decided to try "Snapshot Sundays" myself. I think it will be fun; I enjoy looking at pics and getting a peek into other places and other people's lives. Err, not that I'm a stalker or anything.... ;)

  7. I can't believe those are from a phone! INCREDIBLE pics, Heather. Beautiful captures.

sCATtergories...hehe....So does that game also involve a kitty? I know poker does....

  8. I cannot believe these are from a phone camera--the sunset ones are particularly beautiful! And what is it that makes cats want to shove themselves into a box half their size? It's probably something Freudian.

  9. Teachinfourth: Ahh...curses indeed. It's a bummer to miss a good photo op. You do take some extremely amazing photos though.

Lisa, yeah right, I know you're a stalker...haha! I am excited you're doing that, I love all the photos you do post, they're always really unique. I especially love the old ones from your childhood, so cute. I can't wait to see what you post.

Heather, yes it is and I've literally accomplished nothing today. Aside from this quick post. It's been kind of nice. We can gab about LIttle House any time you want. And yes, this has been a miserably hot summer with very little rain. I'm ready for Fall.

Tara, thanks! And yes, my son has green in his hair, it was a really cool blue, but it's starting to fade. I like it.

Noemi, haha, our cat has to be where ever we are and usually right in the middle of it. I love that about him, he's so family oriented.

Bryce, Thank you. For being a phone/camera, it does take pretty decent pictures. I would still like to buy a new camera and I'm thinking next art job I get paid for...

Thanks Julie. Sunsets are beautiful. And I don't know, but I've yet to meet a cat that doesn't think he belongs inside of any available box, no matter the size. It's pretty funny. If you get time, look up Maru on Youtube, it's all about that. Very funny videos.

  10. Love your photos! I'm a sucker for a good sunrise or sunset! I really liked the second to last image with the sun in the trees. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your walks.

  11. Great photos Heather. Nice and relaxing, just like what Sunday's are suppose to be right? Sunsets, cornfields, kitties and green haired boys!

  12. Those are beautiful pictures. Photography is one of my hobbies. It's true what they say about pictures being worth 1000 words. I love sunsets, but my favorite time of day is when the sun rises. It always makes me think that someone spilled blush over the clouds. That's a great camera phone...clear pictures.

  13. Thank you Mindy, I too, love anything with the sky. It's ever changing and a miracle of beauty everyday.

Thanks Robin, I love that, Sunsets, cornfields, kitties and green haired boys. That 's what Sundays are made of. haha!

Laila, you're sweet, thanks! Yes, I love mornings too. I always feel special when I'm up early enough to watch the sunrise. It feels like a gift. I hope to see some of your photography too.
