Lines In Ink

My fellow artist Jackie and I teach art classes and right now we are focused on Pen and Ink drawings. This is something I haven't done in a very long time, so I decided to work on it a bit this week, although instead of actually using pen and ink, I just used a black ink pen. I had a lot of fun with this and created a few interesting pictures. :) If I get more time this week, I may get to the studio early and work on an actual pen and ink. Enjoy the day and all the beauty it holds!

Rural Murals, Say That Ten Times Fast.

Over the past summer I spent many hours painting myself silly, in the children's library, in the town where I live. Doing my best to put myself into the mind of a child and on their terms with color, expression, recognizable stories, hidden bits of goodness and all at their eye level. (Sometimes practically standing on my head) These are a few bits and pieces of the walls I joyfully painted.
